Vocabulary memory game

Memory games are excellent tools to strengthen children’s cognitive skills, long-term memory, creativity, attention, and concentration. In the degree of preschool, this type of play has been significant because children constantly remember what is learned in class while having fun.

This activity has made it possible to put into practice the use of vocabulary, practice pronunciation, and sustain short dialogues since children learn content meaningfully if shown in a fun, innovative, and creative way.

The activity consisted of a memory game developed by the teacher in slides where each card contained an image of vocabulary, later the teacher gave the children a sheet where they had to discover the word in English correctly and color the drawing just like the card.

Preschoolers enjoyed that activity because they liked to discover hidden objects, colorize them in their guide sheets, and, practice with pronunciation exercises in English.
