The students of the Seventh grade from Domingo Savio’s High School were working on quantities (Countable and Uncountable), throw this process they used the food Vocabulary. They were using it to learn to manage the different ways of counting the food using Measure Words like cup, teaspoon, liters, etc.

 

As they were working with this Vocabulary for more than one month, they suggested to the teacher to create some recipes or at least write some known recipes for each one of them. The group was divided into groups of three and two students, first they wrote in their notebooks some ideas in order to organize them, and then they rewrote the recipes on paper in order to make an exposition and show their classmates their recipes and throw this using the language and the whole information they learn.

 

In order to make a good close for this activity they prepare the recipe at home and bring it to show to their classmates and try to share the food between them.

 

Most of the recipes were about sandwiches, pancakes, and desserts.
