During the third period, the natural sciences class in English represents a subject of new learning challenges for elementary students, especially in learning new vocabulary related to the environment. Due to the above, the teacher Mayra Dussan made some models of the ecosystem through meaningful activities, that they liked the most with the third-grade students. Each student built a model during the class and at the end they exposed the elements that made it up. This activity favored the independent and significant learning of each one of the students who, with their creativity, managed to make excellent presentations.

It is important to note that for primary school students, learning through activities that they carry out themselves is more meaningful and important because they highlight talents and abilities that sometimes they did not think they had. In addition, the class was made fun and not monotonous for the children. Finally, students learn a second language (English) through small projects or crafts.
